As many as you like. And as many different types too.

For .com.au or .net.au domains you will need a valid ABN, ACN or State Business Number to qualify for a domain.

For .org.au or .asn.au you will need a valid official NPO or Charity number. There is simply no other way around this.

How do I add email to my domain? Expand

My domain is registered elsewhere…should I transfer it to NewSprout? Expand

You don’t have to. Your hosting service will function just fine if your domain is not with us but a thing called ‘DNS’ or your ‘Nameservers’ will need to be updated.

If your domain is in your account with us you can manage the DNS and Nameservers easily … and more importantly, we can take care of it all for you.

What is the difference between a $27 domain registration and a $140.00 domain registration?

Absolutely nothing, apart from burning a ridiculously unnecessary hole in your pocket!

Of course support and customer service should be your main consideration when registering your domain or hosting product. A high price tag does not guarantee excellent support!

Some domain hosting companies “call” their domain product a premium domain registration or similar but don’t be fooled by the fancy name or high price tag.

AusRegistry and auDA look after the Australian domain space. They are a central system, meaning all domains are the same. As does ICANN in the US, and others international organisations too).

So in other words, the domains are the same but the RRP varies!

A $27 vs $140.00 domain is like buying a new car from a dealer in Ballina vs the same new car dealer in Melbourne. It could cost more in Melbourne, but it is still the same car with the same specs and warranties. Just the salesman/dealer happened to be different!
